Boys’ Town Public School (BTPS) was established in the year 1944 and is located on 15 acres of land in the centre of Nashik City. The school has four distinct different sections (Nursery, Primary, Secondary & Junior College with Science & Commerce streams) each having its own Principal.
The School caters from Nursery to Grade XIl. The syllabus followed is as per The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (SSC & HSC).
The institution ensures overall development of children – academic, moral & social.
BTPS believes in creating ideal individuals by concentrating on children through dedicated and experienced teaching staff, realising that change is essential in education.
Children learn by doing, using their senses, exploring their environment of people, things, places and events. They learn from first-hand, concrete experiences in various forms such as storytelling, listening, reading books, looking at pictures, playing games and also through presentations, demonstrations, project work etc.
Active engagement with things and ideas that promote a child’s growth is the key to successful upbringing.
At BTPS, teachers encourage children to participate in programmes that provide them with oratory skills, physical development & leadership qualities.
Experiences outside the classroom are important beyond just enhancing the academic curriculum; they build stronger social skills and emotional confidence in a child’s ability to try new things.
At BTPS the year is punctuated frequently with events & activities to give students new experiences that they can use to grow as young adults. Monthly events that endeavour to continue the spirits of community building include: Festival Celebrations, Earth Day/ Green Day, Science Fair, Cooking Competitions and many more. The field trip programmes are well-planned and organized for playful engagement with students, with easy to follow and comprehensive school trip protocols.
